This is a rare early 20th-century (1903) Edwardian sterling silver antique vesta case with inset photo frame.
Plain rectangular form.
The hinge is spring-loaded with strong tension, the lid flicks open and closes firmly.
Fully hallmarked, with a tiny Sterling mark on the loop.
Free from monograms or inscriptions.
Decent weight vesta case.
HALLMARKS: Birmingham, SILVER fineness 925. MAKER Lines, Bunn & Mason
DIMENSION: 5cm x 3.8cm x (2" x 1 1/2") approx. The diameter of the inset circular frame is 1.6cm.
CONDITION: There are 2 tiny holes at the top of the lid and near the base, please see the last 2 images. The circular frame fits securely into the opening.
