This is an early 19th-century (1824) Georgian sterling silver & mother of pearl antique Sheffield folding knife.
Genuine mother of pearl scales. Free from monograms.
Hallmarked sterling silver blade.
Sturdy spring+hinge, the blade latches on at 90° and then 180°, snaps strongly open and shut.
The silver blade still has a good thickness to it and not flimsy.
A decent-sized Georgian folding knife measuring at 3 1/4" when closed.
