This is a mid 19th-century rare Victorian Coburg pattern antique silver large table/dinner knife by Chawner & Co.
Sterling silver handle.
The high carbon steel blade is from the same period of mid 19th-century, by Harrison Brothers & Howson, Sheffield.

CONDITION: Good condition, minor age-related wear, no dents and no splits, The handle joint has been repaired, legitimately and sympathetically with an additional lion passant Sterling hallmarked applied. The repair was old and made also in the mid to late 19th-century based on the shape of the lion passant hallmark. The handle is tight without movement.
