This is a rare early 19th-century (1816) sterling silver Regency Georgian antique butter dish.
Rectangular form. The tray with gadrooned, Scroll and Shell decorated rim. The top with gold wash finish (parcel gilt).
Original antique Georgian oblong blue glass dish. 7cm x 5cm (2 3/4" x 2").
Free from inscriptions or monograms.
HALLMARKS: Sheffield, SILVER fineness 925. MAKER John Watson
