Profusely decorated with intricate scrollwork to the front and back, patterns still crisp and highly detailed.
The interior with original gilding, fully hallmarked. Later replaced maroon straps.
The front has a large shield-shaped cartouche, free from monogram and with no previous erasures.
Good silver weight.
HALLMARKS: Birmingham, SILVER fineness 925, MAKER Robert Pringle & Sons.
