This is a good quality 18th-century (c.1770) Georgian - George III English sterling silver salt/condiment shovel.
The handle in Old English pattern, the top adorned with a lovely coronet crest.
It is of heavy gauge silver, the shovel still has a good thickness to it and not flimsy.

CONDITION: Good condition without damage. No dents and no splits. The hallmarks squashed but this is common and characteristic of silver salt spoons of this period.
