This is a lovely Art Deco, early 20th-century (1936) sterling silver 925 cigarette case.
Rectangular form with rounded corners.
The lids decorated with fine engine-turned patterns.
The top has a vacant cartouche in Art Deco design. No monograms.
The interior retains its original gilding. A newly replaced maroon colour elastic strap.
Overall great condition. The hinges are still tight. The clasp closes with a strong snap.
The lids close flush, without leaving any gap.
