ANTIQUE SILVER EDWARDIAN TEA CADDY, WITH TWIN LION MASK HANDLES

Early 20th-century (1907) Chester hallmarked sterling silver tea caddy/canister.

Oval bellied form, with gadrooned rim and twin lion mask handles, on four ball feet.

It is fully hallmarked, on the body (rubbed) and on the lid, there is a tiny lion passant sterling mark on each of the ring handle. 

Without personal inscriptions or crest. No previous erasure.


HALLMARKS: Chester, STERLING fineness 92.5%. MAKER George Nathan & Ridley Hayes

WEIGHT: 176g
