Stunning pair of early 19th century (1833) William IV sterling silver heavy antique salts

Of circular and lobed body. The rim decorated with lovely repeated flower and leaf stalks. 

Raised on three scroll and shell feet.

Gilt interior.

They are not monogrammed or crested. No previous erasure.

They weigh 136g and 139g respectively, and have a combined weight of 275g.


HALLMARKS: London, STERLING fineness 92.5% MAKER Rubbed

DATE: 'S' - 1833

DIMENSION: Diameter: 9.8cm.  Height: 5cm approx. (approx.)

WEIGHT: 275g combined (approx.)

CONDITION: Both are in very good condition without damage. General light wear, some wear to the marks, some light scratches. One salt has stronger gilding than the other. No splits. No repair.
