Rare 19th-century (1840) Irish silver box

A fine Irish sterling silver lidded and glass square box, early Victorian,

Excellent quality.

Crest of a bird feeding three chicks. No other personal inscriptions.

It is in great condition except a very small chip the one corner the box rim, please see 4th image. No other issues otherwise the lid is without dents or splits. No repair.


HALLMARKS: Dublin, STERLING fineness 92.5% MAKER Henry Flavelle

WEIGHT: Lid only 29g. (combined: 99g)
