Antique 19th-century (1889) sterling silver ornate pounce pot

Circular urn shape. Repousse and chased decorated.

Hallmarked both on the base and on the lid - with matching hallmarks.

Relatively small, the base outer diameter is 26.5mm, possibly for sitting on an inkstand/tray, or used as a pepperette.

It has no personalised monogram or crest.
