Regency Silver



Mid 20th-century (1959) solid sterling silver cigarette case.

Having a concealed catch design - the case is opened and closed by sliding the hinges. Once released, the lids flip open by the spring loaded hinges. The spring tension is still very strong.

It has engine turned patterns on the exterior.  

The interior is gilded and complete with gilt straps. Original gilding.

It is a very high quality case, all hinges/closing mechanism are well made and robust. 

It is an extremely heavy case, weighing a hefty 251g.

The case is without any personal inscription or crest.

It is fully hallmarked. There is an additional tiny Sterling mark on the sliding bar.
