Unusual Centre Opening 'Pop Up' Sterling Cigarette Case

A good quality early 20th-century (1912) solid sterling silver antique cigarette case. 

Curved back design.

The case lid comprises two parts, hinged on either side.

The lids 'pop' open simultaneously when the clasps are pressed. The spring loaded hinges are in good working order and give the lids a strong pop up action. 

There is a monogram at one corner.

The  interior is gilded.

Each part of the three compartments are hallmarked.

The maker is William Hair Haseler, who is also known for his Arts and Crafts works.

CONDITION: The case is in very good condition without damage. It has no obvious dents or dings. There have been repairs to the straps but they are now all in good working order. The hinges and the clasps work fine.
