Regency Silver

Antique circa 1900 solid sterling silver antique cigarette case.

Plain smooth design with a curved back, with an inscription Betty?

It has rather nice internal clips which are decorated with open work of foliated Scrolls; and with Bright-cut patterns.

The clips are held in spring loaded hinges, they spring back into place when lifted. The tension in the hinges is still strong.

Delightfully these hinges and clips are individually hallmarked.

The gilding is in the interior is still excellent.

The case is top quality, no dents and appears to be in rarely used condition.
